Assorted Baklava pastries are typically devoted for a formal occasion as they are sweeter than Mamoul and contain more sugar syrup. They are ideal to be served as dessert in ceremonial settings. This feature makes assorted Baklava a striking first choice in huge parties as you can always chose your preference of desserts on the heavier or lighter side of the sugar contain. Middle Eastern cookies like Mamoul and Karabij are made from semolina flour. Karabij is a small cookie filled with pistachio and made from the same ingredients as Mamoul. But it is offered Natef that is a special dipping cream made for it. Mamoul-Mad is made from the same ingredients as Mamoul, yet it appears different as it is made into squares where the crust covers the filling only from the top and bottom sides.
